About the event
Workshop participants will learn basic carving skills to make their own linoleum block print. You’ll leave with a few paper editions of your print, plus a printed tea towel. You'll also keep your block print for future printing and you'll have the skills to keep making more!
Monica Rico is a full-time artist and runs the Henniker Community Market. She took her first block printing workshop at Warner Public Market and found a passion for printingmaking that hasn't abated.
Limited to 20 participants.
Cost: $60
Scholarship info: We want to make these workshops as accessible as possible. If the cost is prohibitive to you for any reason, please reach out to Ellie at ejb.615@gmail.com to inquire about scholarship opportunities.
Class may take place indoors, but if weather allows then the class will all be taught outside under a tent, with a backup plan in case of rain. The location at Foster Farm is rustic, and participants should be comfortable being outdoors for the full day. Please bring your own lunch and anything else you need to be comfortable. Seating will be provided and there is a composting outhouse.
