Herbal Chocolate and Valentine Making

Would you like to make something sweet to go with this season of Valentines? You are in luck! Decadent, medicinal herbal chocolate creations can be in your future! Inspired by Rosemary Gladstar's teaching, Audrey Bethel will share how easy it is to blend organic chocolate, coconut oil and powdered herbs to make super special sweet treats that also happen to be very medicinal. We will make several batches that showcase, turmeric, maca, cayenne, sea salt, cacao nibs, lavender buds, cardamom, and other herbs if you care to bring them to add. Bonus activity - make some valentines too!

Audrey has been incorporating herbs into her life since she was a little girl. She has an awareness of many ways in which herbs work to support humans and she tries to learn more about them each year she lives. Herbalism is not her primary trade, but she believes everyone who wants to be should feel empowered to work with herbs and use their medicine in a daily way. This workshop is inspired by a segment of a hands-on three day workshop with master herbalist Rosemary Gladstar that Audrey participated in last fall.
