Explore the history and use of chainsaw and crosscut saws with visiting instructor Chad Pickett. Focus on chainsaw safety, maintenance and troubleshooting. Open to all, no previous chainsaw experience needed. Great for beginners or those looking for a deeper understanding of their saw and its upkeep. 

Chad has 8 years of professional chainsaw use and education. He is currently employed by the US Forest Service as trail crew lead in the Nez-Perce/Clearwater National Forest of Idaho and Montana and resides in Missoula, Montana.
