About the event

Joy Malcolm is an artist and educator based in Hopkinton, NH.  She fell in love with bookbinding as a college student while working in her college’s library conservation lab.  Later experiences working at the Harvard College Library Conservation Lab, as a librarian, and as a high school art teacher have converged into a great love for books and art and a strong belief in their power as a form of expression and healing.  Other than bookbinding, her current favorite mediums are painting, mixed media, and art journaling.  Joy received a Studio Art degree from Wellesley College.  Visit her on Instagram @joymalcolmart.
