About the event
This workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of block printing as you work to make holiday cards. We'll work with standard easy-cut linoleum, but talk about various cutting tools and printing materials. You'll learn the steps to start a project, safe cutting techniques, basic composition, inking, and printing. From simple shapes to repeated patterns,series printing, multi-color and monotypes, this will be a loose foundation to further your printing practice. No previous experience necessary.
$15 per person. All materials provided. Participants get to keep 10 cards and their carved prints. Limit 15 people.
